This is the costume that I will be making for Heather to wear in her play. She plays "Raya, companion to the princesses and self-appointed royal painter" in a play entitled A King, A Plot and A Hamster with our homeschool co-op theatre class. The play will take place on May 6. Heather will also have an artist's apron, a palette, and paint brushes. I am using Simplicity Costume pattern 5582 with some adjustments to the overskirt. It wasn't available in children's sizes so I bought a size 4 women's pattern. I may have some serious adjustments to make. :-) I better get busy!
