We have been sick for a week now, one or the other of us. I am thinking it's the flu, been spreading around like crazy here! Heather started it first last Sunday afternoon, then Will on Wednesday, me on Thursday, and Rose today. It seems to last just a couple days, though mine is lingering longer. High fever, chills, congestion, cough, sore throat, headache, achiness in general.... bleck!
I am so bummed today as my little sis Angela and her boys flew in to town yesterday from MN and I haven't been able to see them yet. We thought we'd be better by today, and everyone was going to come for lunch here... but I ended up with another fever and pounding head all night and didn't get to sleep much at all, then Rose started throwing up early this morning (she always throws up with fevers). Mom called and Oscar is sick this morning too so they couldn't come and we just cancelled the whole thing which is probably for the best, but I am so sad!
Tom is still healthy, thankfully. He was able to help Rose this morning and he got some laundry and dishes done the last couple days - even picked up and vacuumed last night. He is such a dear! Please pray that he stays healthy.
