The womb - a lightbulb moment

I was doing a quick Bible study while I am here (came up to the shop
for a moment)... and I had a little light bulb go off... do a search
on "womb" and read the verses. It was impressed upon me that not only
does God open and close the womb, but it is HIM that is responsible
for bringing forth from the womb. I knew this, but I didn't KNOW it,
ya know? It just seems very freeing... that while I can do all that
is humanly possible to conceive, have a "healthy" pregnancy and
prepare for birth in all the "right" ways... it is so much not about
ME! God will carry out His purposes in the way that He desires, and
we just can't even pretend to understand or see the big picture and
His ultimate plan. It isn't a matter of playing the game right or
weighing the balances, it is a matter of trusting and submitting my
ALL to HIM... not because then He will do what I want, but because it
will please Him - and I will have so much more peace if I just do so.

Anyway, just sharing... :D

Trying to do better

I am going to try to do a better job of posting here. Things are slowing down and we are getting used to the new schedule that is our life. :-) Hopefully you will see more of me here now.
