Crabtree Falls

Pics from our visit to Crabtree Falls, we walked a pretty good hike but didn't go all the way to the top. It was a hot day but very pretty and only a half hour from our house. Crabtree Falls is the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi.

Milady at Jamestown

A performance entitled "Milady at Jamestown" provided by our local library. The kids and I attended with Tom's parents. Was very interesting and lots of fun. The girls went up and played some instruments while she taught us some period songs.

The Grandparents visit

Tom's parents arrived last Tuesday and went home today. They flew this time, which I think they enjoyed. We miss them! We had a lovely visit. Tom worked a lot so that was a bit of a dissapointment, but we were able to go to Crabtree Falls on Thursday, and out for dinner and to a pilgrim production at the library on Saturday. Rose cried when we dropped them off at the airport, Will asked when we would go pick them back up. I will post pics from the crabtree falls journey when I can get to the fast internet.

We are going to my dad's for the fourth tomorrow. I made a potato and lettuce salad to take, may pick up some drinks and chips on the way also. Laura said she had a little pool for the kids to play in - should be fun!
